Assistant Professor and Director of the Moore Applied Cognition Lab
Dr. Kara Moore is an Assistant Professor of Psychology at Oklahoma State University. She obtained her Ph.D. in Cognitive Psychology from the University of Arkansas in 2017. Dr. Moore is a cognitive psychologist. Dr. Moore's area of expertise is in human attention and memory, particularly as it applies to the law. She uses behavioral and psychophysiological methods to understand eyewitness memory, false memories, and persons searches (e.g., how people search for missing and wanted persons). Her research has been published in peer review outlets such as Child Development, Psychonomic Bulletin and Review, and the Journal of Applied Research in Memory and Cognition.
